Team

Jack-up engineering combines three disciplines in offshore engineering:

Geotechnical engineering
Hydrodynamic engineering
Structural engineering

Every Calypsonian has a background in one of these three disciplines. In addition, every Calypsonian is actively trained in the other two disciplines. Therefore, anyone performing a jack-up assessment has sufficient knowledge of all aspects involved. This reflects our strong believe that no part of jack-up engineering is done in a vacuum, but has strong ties to all aspects of jack-up operations.

In addition to the theoretical training, every Calypsonian is licensed to work offshore and for transit by helicopter. This enables the team to quickly respond to (incident related) requests, to perform and oversee monitoring campaigns and to support rig moves.
